Email issues - suddenly not working or working on one device but not another


If you have incorrect logins or wrong configurations in your email software and attempt repeatably to login, the server security software may temporarily ban your IP address.

Please read the below and check the configurations in your email software

Your IP address has been blocked by the security firewall.

Reason: (log entry)
Failed SMTP AUTH login from your IP address
TLS handshaking: SSL_accept() failed: eg. error:140760FC:SSL

There are possibly two errors your end:
1.bad login details on one or more devices.(blocked ip)
2.Out of date or wrong security settings in your email program.
note: if using windows 7 this is a known issue with TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2
being removed by an auto update.(email fails)

1.The ip address has been unblocked.

This will allow you access to the server
2.You will need to corrected email TLS/SSL settings and login details.

Further to the TLS/SSL issue:
If you are unable to update your security settings
set SSL off and port 143 or 110 for incoming mail.
